A Western Asiatic Single-Edged Knife | 16th-18th century AD This is a terracotta HellenisticThis is a hand forged iron single edged knife with a T section blade. The knife curves back and has a scooped grip with rivets. Possibly a pesh kabz or similar weapon, in fine condition. Date: 16th 18th century AD Size: 410mm x 38mm 263 grams Provenance: Purchased in 2020 from a London specialist auction. Property of an Essex collector; acquired on the UK art market; formerly in an early 1990s private collection.
