Produced for margiela in the 1990s by italian knitwear manufacturer miss deanna, the phrase "X WIDE NECK" has been painted onto the inside of the singlet at the back neck and, unsurprisingly, it indeed has an X WIDE NECK. The singlet is finished at the neck and sleeves with a self fabric band. It is made from a single tube of washed cotton rib, meaning there is no side seam for the care label
